History: Alexandra "Alex" Winger was a Force-sensitive female Human. Her biological father was Matt Turhaya, but she grew up as the adopted daughter of the Imperial Governor of Garos IV, Tork Winger. Her Force-sensitivity first manifested itself in dreams about future events—dreams which most of the time turned out to come true. She often dreamt that she was climbing the Tahika Cliffs accompanied by a man with sandy brown hair and deep blue eyes—a man she had never met in real life. Another recurrent dreams was a vivid nightmare of how her biological parents died in an Imperial attack on her original Homeworld. She was also able to sense danger and pick up the presence of other life forms through the Force. In her late teens, Alex was a resistance fighter on Garos IV. She made use of the Imperial contacts she had as the daughter of an Imperial governor, and she would also actively participate in sabotage missions and guerrilla ambushes along with her friends in the resistance movement. Extremely intelligent for a human being, she attended the University of Garos and was one of the best students the university had ever seen, excelling in virtually every course. Being a graceful and beautiful young woman, many of her male fellow students were romantically interested in her. Among these were Lej Carner, whom she in turn found disgusting, and the clumsy but charming Trad Mays, whom she was secretly infatuated with for some time. She later befriended Dair Haslip, who was a Garosian Imperial officer that secretly worked for the Garosian Resistance. In order not to cause any suspicion, Alex and Dair would pretend that they were having a secret love affair. Many of their romantic night time escapades were in reality espionage missions. Their feigned relationship would eventually develop into genuine feelings of attraction and infatuation, especially on the behalf of Dair. Alex would later befriend Akiva Rostoni and work alongside the Mutt Squad when they worked on Garos IV to help overthrow the yolk of the Empire there. Later Alex would learn the Force under Akiva while spending time on the Mesa. Alex is presently working in Republic Special Forces under Commander Thomas Wayne.
