GM NOTES:
Special Abilities:
Vision: Trandoshans' vision includes the ability to see in the infrared spectrum. They can see in darkness with no penalty, provided there is a heat source.
Clumsy: Trandoshans have poor manual dexterity. They have considerable difficulty performing actions which reuire precise finger movement and they suffer a penalty of -2D whenever they attempt an action of this kind. In addition, they also have some difficulty using weaponry that requires a substantially smaller finger such as blasters and blaster rifles; most weapons used by Trandoshans have had their finger guards removed or redesigned to allow for the Trandoshan's use.
Regeneration: Younger Trandoshans can regenerate lost limbs (fingers, arms, legs, ans feet). This ability disapears as the Trandoshan ages. Once per day, the Trandoshan must make a Moderate Strength or stamina roll. Success means that the limb regenerates by ten percent. Failure indicates that the regeneration does not occur.

Story Factors:
Wookie Hate: The long-lasting feud between the Wookies af Kashyyk and the Trandoshans is deeply ingrained in both species. When encountering Wookies or known Wookie assosiates, Trandoshans must make a Moderate willpower check to keep from attacking.
Hostility: The Trandoshans are known as belligerent species. They gain +1D to all intimidation rolls against non-Trandoshans.

Capsule

Malshav and Ganshakk have been working together for years. Rumor has it that when they were both young, they were abducted by slavers who were hitting various planets and taking children. During the hyperspace trip a malfunction occured on the shuttle and the power shut down, dropping the ship violently into real space ;darkness enveloped the ship and Malshav saw his opportunity.
The young barabel had been working at the lock on his cage for some time, and had it practically worked free. He lunged from his cage and, being able to see in the dark, attacked the nearest guard, a small rodian.
The guard jabbed the barabel with a stun stick, but Malshav, protected by his ultra-hard scales and adrenaline, ripped out the rodians throat and let him drop to the ground.
Realizing he wouldn't be able to get off of the ship without help, he sprung the closest slave near him, a young trandoshan whose eyes also glittered in the dark.

Together they overpowered the guard posted outside of the cargo hold and made their way to an escape pod, which they boarded and jettisoned.
Hours passed and the two were eventually picked up by a planetary shuttle. The slavers ship had dropped into the Elrood Sector and the young men were taken to the nearest planet-Coyn. It was here that they found work as hired help for various coynite warriors. Instead of pay however, they accepted romm and board along with lessons in self defense and combat tactics.

The two left the planet several years later and became proffessional bounty hunters. They realized that, given their special gifts and combined strength, they had an advantage most species did not-the ability to see in the dark.
The two have used this to their advantage, tracking their prey and, when least expected, eliminating the lightsource and striking. The tactic has proven effective and, along with their undying devotion to each other has earned them the nickname "The Blackout Brothers"

Personality:

Of the two, Malshav is the most vocal. He is the one who arranges what bounties the duo will take and their plan of attack. If someone wants to hire the brothers, it is Malshav that they must talk to.
Gashakk on the other hand says very little. When he does talk, it is to Malshav and only when they are alone. Gashakk has a very violent temper however, and while Malshav will try to reason with a "mark", Gashakk will grab an arm and twist the individual into submission until something snaps.
