After serving 2 tours of duty in the Corprate Sector fleet, Ya-Libb turned down an instructors position at the acadamy to explore the galaxy.

When his tour-ship was attacked by pirates, the ship was pillaged and the crew & passengers left on an uninhabited planet. With the help of some of the crew, Ya-Libb was able to craft a trasmitter and radio a distress signal. Fortunately, a mid-sized freighter was making a hyperspace route correction & picked up the signal, rescuing the stranded passengers.

After some debate & bargining, the crew of the freighter transported the passengers to Ord Mantell, thanks to Ya-Libb.
