Developed in the Vol Kol system, the Grendelcorp's "Bandit-4" has seen extensive use in the border wars against the Keegarians. Finally making its way to the open market amidst a flurry of advertising and promotion, the Bandit-4 is Grendelcorp's newest offering in its "Planetary Defense" Line (Discounts offered on Bulk Orders).
A follow-up to their popular Bandit-3 Model, this incarnation sacrifices passenger load for a larger weapons loadout and increased maneuverability. Designed to be inserted behind enemy lines to cause the greatest amount of havoc while still being able to return to home base relatively intact, the Bandit-4 is smaller, faster and much more deadly than it's predecessor.
In addition to more armament, the Bandit-4 is equipped with twin HA-520 thrust rockets, enabling the vehicle to achieve a high rate of speed for short amount of time in instances where vacating a volatile region is of the utmost importance.
In the Bandit-3, due to some faulty computer programming, weapons systems were known to go offline for a short periods of time. Grendelcorp. addressed these issues in the Bandit-4, claiming to have corrected the problem. Still, field tests report that if the rear of the vehicle (where the tank's computer core is located) sustains even moderate damage, certain systems can potentially go down without warning.

GM Notes: If the Bandit-4 takes any damage to its rear fire arc and rolls a "1" when resisting damage, either the weapon systems OR the Repulsor Drive goes down for 1D6 Rounds. A MODERATE Comp programming/repair roll is needed to bring the weapons system back online within ONE round. A MODERATE Repulsor Repair roll is needed to bring the Repulsor Drive back online within ONE round.
